Rediscovering (More!) Ease in the Shoulders

  • JP Centre Yoga Virtual (map)

Do you want some more of a good thing? Did you miss the first installment?

IMG_1891.jpeg

Last month, we explored how modern lifestyle is increasingly changing the way we hold ourselves... and how that takes a toll on our body, mind, and spirit. BUT (!) 2 hours just wasn’t enough to explore all the wonderful intricacies of how to work with the shoulders and neck to rediscover our innate freedom. So by popular demand, we are going at it again. The goal remains the same, but our approaches will be different.

Ease is something that is cultivated with time, dedication, and curiosity... until eventually it can be felt both while at rest and while in action. In this workshop, we will explore more techniques (from a variety of different movement lenses and therapeutic approaches) with the intention of revealing an inner landscape that is spacious enough to hold both softness and strength in not only our shoulders, but our mind and spirit.

You do not need to have attended the previous pose. Everyone is welcome!

WHEN | Saturday, May 1st | 1-3pm EST

This workshop will be hosted virtually through Zoom. A recording will be available for 48 hours in case you are unable to attend the live event.

INVESTMENT

As with JP Centre Yoga’s weekly classes, tiered pricing is available.
$35 (Supporting Level)
$30 (Sustaining Level)
$20 (Supported Level)

OPTIONAL 50% BIPOC DISCOUNT
We offer a 50% discount on all payment options for students who identify as Black, Indigenous and People of Color (use promo code wellnessequity). We don’t assume that all who identify as BIPOC require or want financial support to access yoga. For those who do, we see this as an additional structural step that we can take to address the long standing racial inequities and patterns of oppression that have existed in wellness and yoga spaces. We ask that this code is not used by white allies.
